Vi kan stolt presentera ny huvudtränare för herrlaget säsongen 2021.
Jack Cassidy, som har UEFA A tränarutbildning, har en gedigen fotbollskarriär som tränare. Diplomerad lärare, pågående masterutbildning som tränare, UEFA A-licens/FA Ungdoms-licens samt många års erfarenhet inom tränaryrket är något som är värt att nämna.
Vi har hunnit ha en första pratstund med den nya huvudtränaren.
1. For those of us who do not know who Jack Cassidy is, tell us a little about how your football journey began – up to where you are now as a head coach in Prespa Birlik?
I feel lucky to have been involved within football coaching and teaching for 14 years, working across different levels of the game in England including Senior Semi Professional Football, within a Professional Academy whilst also working as a Teacher delivering a Sport Diploma to College students. My journey has enabled me to gain a variety of different experiences including winning promotion as Ass Coach at St Ives Town FC as well as working with some talented young players within Luton Town’s Academy. I have recently stepped away from Luton Town to return to Senior Football with Prespa Birlik and I am looking forward to getting started.
2. Which teams have you coached?
Histon, St Ives Town FC, Bedford Town, St Neots Town, Luton Town(academy)
3. How did you find out about Prespa Birlik and what was it that made you accept the head coaching assignment?
I was put in touch with the chairman Ercan Kerim through a mutual friend who put me forward for the role. I immediately got on well with Ercan and we shared the same ideas and vision for the football club. The head coach role filled me with excitement and I felt it was the right time to take the step and accept the opportunity.
4. What type of football can we expect from you?
I want the supporters to watch a team thats going to outwork the opposition. Be organized out of possession, showing a desire and intensity when pressing to win the ball back. I want the team to be positive and progressive when in possession with plenty of goalmouth action.
5. Do you have any message for Prespa Birliks members and supporters?
I am proud to be a part of this wonderful club with an important history. I am confident that we can unite the team with the supporters and you will enjoy watching a team that represents the community well in a hard working fashion. I look forward to meeting you all very soon and welcoming you to our games.

I would like to thank Ercan Kerim and the Directors for giving me this opportunity and I look forward to giving my all in the job. I would also like to mention that Milad Samadi who has worked for the Ugandan National Team as an Performance Analyst and as a Coach in Canada will be joining me as our ‘Head of Analysis & Technical Coach’. I look forward to welcoming Milad with me.
